Wow!, a whole year went by since I write you last. Hard to believe. I have other sites and do not use this. I will try to keep this one updated as well. Alot has happened last year. My husband and I build a new house here in Maine, in November and we are just loving it. The winter this year in Maine has been very hard. We have had frequent snow storms with alot of snow each storm. The winter had also started early; December. Here it is now into March 08. Winter is about over and we are hoping to have Spring soon. There still is alot of snow on the ground but Spring is in the air! We are looking forward to planting flower gardens and landscaping our lawns.
Happy New Year!

Happy New Year in 2007! I had a great year last year. I have been back home (USA) for about a year now and its been great living back here. I was living in Europe for two years. I enjoyed that too but just like Dorothy says in the “Wizard of Oz”, “there’s no place like home!”. We have accomplished alot this pass year, from having to start over from point zero. This year our target is to to acquire a new house. I can’t wait to do that and also take another trip. Yeah, thats why this blogger is named “My Travels”. I love to travel, especially in Europe. I love what is totally different to me. The only disappointed for me is that I can not speak my husbands language very good. Actually not at all. I do understand some words. It is my desire to communicate in Dutch with proficiency. Learning a language is fun but at the same time hard because its WORK! Its also harder when your community isn’t speaking the language. Well hopefully my husband will have patience and desire to help me learn it!
I’ve never been happier than I am right now. Everything is going great. I have the love of my life and everything in my world is happy because of that. He really makes me happy. I have a special man. I also have God and my family. I will never forget those other special people in my life either.
Okay, now it is time to close for today. How was your year? What do you expect for 2007?
